We know visiting a new church can be intimidating. What should I wear? Where do my kids go? We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel right at home when you visit.

What type of church is Restore?

We are a church that is passionate about God and about people. Come as you are: we believe God led you here for a reason. Restore is a friendly church suitable for all ages, you are only new on your first visit after that you are part of the family. We are a Pentecostal church affiliated with the Assemblies of God Movement  

When and where do we meet?

We meet every Sunday 10.30 am at Liqourpond Street, PE21 8UJ

What should I wear?

There is no dress code for attending services at Restore Church except wear some clothes!!!. Some attenders dress casually and some dress up—it’s all good! You are free to come exactly as you are, so wear whatever you are most comfortable in.

What happens when I arrive?

When you arrive at a Restore Church service, you will enter and be greeted by one of our friendly greeters. They may give you some information about how you can get connected into church. You you can check your children into our kids ministry restore Kids from 10.15. The service will start at 10:30 so you can be sure to get your seat before the service begins!

What is service like?

Our services may be a little bit different than you are used to! Following a challenge from God we have rearranged our service to take us on a journey to worship.

Step one: Be changed by Gods word: We always start our services with a warm welcome and then enter straight into an inspirational message, tackling real issues, relating Gods word to your every day that will hopefully leave you well prepared to face the adventure of a new week.

Step two: Meet with God: The message leads into a time of communion. At this point you will be able to collect your children from the kids ministry to take communion and worship as a family.

Step 3: Worship God: Once communion is over, we will share a few announcements about what’s happening at our church then continue our service through an offering and time of energetic, passionate praise and worship. We usually stand as we sing and some people enjoy raising their hands or clapping. We get excited about God! We encourage everyone to participate, but there is no set format or requirement to get involved. Don’t worry if you don’t know the words they will be on the screen.

What about my kids/youth

Every Sunday (except special family services where we worship together) we provide Creche for children aged 0-5 and junior church for children aged 5-10. You can register your children as you arrive from 10.15. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements during the check-in time. If we need to contact you during service, we will alert someone in the main auditorium who will discreetly inform you. After the message you will be invited to go and collect your children to join you for the remainder of the service.

Restore Youth meet every Sunday, the welcome team can direct you to their room, they also will rejoin the main meeting for communion and the remaining Sundays are invited to join us in the whole of the service
